1/28/2010: Funny story about the guy who gave me this beer, and this is a 100% true story. He owns a company near me and one of his sales people convinced him to follow a lead at the Pittsburgh Zoo. She told him the contacts name was “Mister Lion.” So he called the zoo and was all pissed off that the person who answered wouldn’t transfer him to Mr Lion… I still don’t think he got the joke. This man is a legend let me just say that. Oh and he called this beer “Fuzzywug.” He might even end up calling President Adam’s asking him for some more of his delicious fuzzywug.

So anyways Old Fezziwig was recommended to me by Tony (guy I work with). The smell is sweet and bready. The taste is not super complex, roasty malts, caramel and slightly sweet. No hops to be found. Mouthfeel is very creamy, medium. Carbonation is a little high but I think it really helps bring out the flavors. Very very drinkable.

Funny Picture of the day: This would be a good way to teach children about sex.
